Sunset and Nocturnal Photography

September 15 – October 6, 2020 – Sacramento CA

Take your camerawork to the next level with a nighttime/low-light photography class. Start by learning how to operate your camera remotely, work in manual mode, and use bulb settings to control shutter speed. Then, apply your knowledge in the field. Two classes will be held online and two in the field.

Four Tuesdays
September 15, 6–8 PM: Zoom
September 22, 6–8:30 PM: Deep Water Canal, West Sacramento
September 29, 6–8:30 PM: The River Walk, West Sacramento
October 6, 6–8 PM: Zoom

Bring your digital SLR camera, owner’s manual, tripod, and remote shutter release. This class is not recommended for point-and-shoot cameras. In addition, a circular polarizing filter is useful.

Masks are required during in-person sessions and social distancing will be practiced in the field.  Please wear closed toed shoes good for walking and dress for cooler weather.
